Radio-television Serbia (RTS) reported on the first few “Serbia against violence” protests as peripheral events, until May 27 when, during the fourth protest in a row, the participants formed a ring around the building of the public service broadcaster, demanding that it should convey citizens’ demands in a timely and adequate manner. For the first time, RTS started the Central news program with a direct broadcast from the protest, which continued during the subsequent protests.
On May 28, in a guest appearance on TV Pink, the President, Aleksandar Vučić, said that “RTS was never a request, but that he will sign it because RTS has become very biased”
